However, those same pictures, I process this blog, when I restore and paint the pictures, then the right of modification is produced, ie that are protected by full copyright law, in this case mine. Austro-Hungarian Isotta-Fraschini Armored Car. Captured to the Italians in November 1917.



Austro-Hungarian Panzerauto Isotta-Fraschini Armored Car (Improved version of 1914-1915).

The Italian Isotta-Fraschini Armored Car was captured by the Austro-Hungarian forces during the retreat of Caporetto, in November 1917. 

After active service in the Italian Front during 1918, and the end of that year it was destined to Budapest, Hungary.

In the post-war (1919) was mistakenly classified by the Hungarian Army as "Fiat" Armored Car,.although it could be the Bianchi Armored Car, captured at the same time the Issota-Fraschini and similar features and design. (*).

(*) The only two Fiat-Arsenale Armored Cars, made by the Italians [Italian Army], was destined to Lybia in 1912 [and 1913], during the Italo-Turkish War (1911-1912), and never returned to Italy.

Coche Blindado Austro-Húngaro (Panzerauto) Isotta-Fraschini (Versión mejorada de 1914-1915).

El Coche Blindado italiano Isotta-Fraschini fue capturado por las fuerzas austro-húngaras durante la retirada italiana de Caporetto, en noviembre de 1917.

Después de actuar en el frente italiano durante 1918, a finales de ese mismo año fue destinado a la ciudad de Budapest, Hungría.

En la post-guerra (1919) fue erróneamente clasificado por el ejército húngaro como Coche Blindado "Fiat", aunque también podría tratarse del Coche Blindado Bianchi, capturado a la vez que el Issota-Fraschini y de similares características y diseño. (*).

(*) Los dos únicos Coches Blindados Fiat-Arsenale realizados por el Ejército Italiano en 1912, fueron destinados a Libia en 1912 [y en 1913], durante la Guerra Italo-Turca (1911-1912), y nunca regresaron a Italia.

    Thank you for your suggestive comment. Indeed, the capture by the Austro-Hungarians, in 1917, of two Italian armored cars Isotta-Fraschini M1913 and Bianchi M1913 (known in Italian parties as "Libya type") derived, already then, in some confusion in differentiating and correctly classify both models. This was because the design of both models was very similar, since the two were inspired by the Fiat-Arsenale Armored Car M1912. Some Hungarians summary reports of post-war appear some of these armored vehicles known "Fiat". This confusion has remained to this day.

    Gracias por tu sugerente comentario. Efectivamente, la captura por parte de los austro-húngaros, en 1917, de dos coches blindados italianos Bianchi e Isotta-Fraschini (denominados en los partes italianos como “tipo Libia”) derivó, ya entonces, en cierta confusión a la hora de diferenciar y clasificar correctamente ambos modelos. Esto fue debido a que el diseño de ambos modelos era muy similar, pues los dos estaban inspirados en el Coche Blindado Fiat-Arsenale de 1912. En algunos estadillos húngaros de post-guerra aparece alguno de estos vehículos blindados denominados “Fiat”. Esta confusión se ha mantenido hasta nuestros días.
