Warning: The originals photos, texts, films, music, etc ... of the period previous to 1921 year -see the Act of the US Congress about it - have no copyright and belong to the public domain. However, those same pictures, I process this blog, when I restore and paint the pictures, then the right of modification is produced, ie that are protected by full copyright law, in this case mine. Of course there are many more laws in the world, declared in the public domain photographs (which is the topic at hand), in very later dates to the aforementioned (Example: WWII, Korea, etc ...) .

Latvian Peerless-4-ton QF 13-pdr 9-cwt Mk. IV Mount Anti-Aircraft Gun Carrier.

Peerless Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun of the Latvian Army. Ca 1935.

A Latvian section of anti-aircraft self-propelled artillery parade near the town of Skulte, Latvia, ca. 1935. This section consisted of two trucks Peerless 4-ton, each carrying a QF 13-pdr 9 cwt, Mk. IV mounting (*).

Although these anti-aircraft guns were declared obsolete for service in the British Army in 1921, the Canadian, Dutch and Latvian armies continued using it for several years.

During the First World War, the British Army mounted preferentially the anti-aircraft guns, on trucks Thornycroft Type 'J'' 3-ton or on American Peerless 4-ton trucks.

Cañón Antiaéreo Autopropulsado sobre camión Peerless del Ejército Letón. Ca. 1935.
