Bolshevik Hansa-Lloyd-Bylinski Modified Armored Car, 1918.

Bolshevik Hansa-Lloyd-Bylinski Modified Armored Car, 1918.

The Hansa-Lloyd-Bylinski Armored Car was manufactured in 1915 in the workshops of the Obukhov plant of St. Petersburg for the Imperial Russian Army.

It was designed by Captain Bylinski on a chassis Hansa-Lloyd 1.5-ton. German truck.

This model, only manufactured, was equipped with two towers, one at the center of the chassis and the other end thereof. Were equipped, each one, a 7.62-mm. Maxim M1910 Machine Gun.

Later, in 1918, the Bolsheviks dismantled the two turrets and rearmed the armored car with a 3.7-mm Maxim-Nordenfelt Machine Gun, located in the rear of the vehicle and destined to shoot backwards.

This version was used to patrol the streets of Petrograd and,  probably, never came to fighting against White troops during the Russian Civil War

Coche Blindado Bolchevique Modificado Hansa-Lloyd-Bylinski, 1918.
